I’m Mariah May, a photographer who listens to the Earth and follows its wild whispers. Through my lens, I share the voices of places alive with stillness, vibrancy, and presence.
I travel to where my soul is called—the wild and remote places of nature. My camera is the bridge between us, an intimate expression of the deep connection I feel with the natural world. Raw and unfiltered, it’s soul meeting soul—mine and nature’s.
Through photography, I’ve come to understand that I am not separate from nature, but part of it. We share the same breath, the same pulse. The profound love and care I feel for the land and its creatures is because they live in my heart too. This is why I am a conservation photographer.
I care deeply for the earth and its wildlife. I want my images to reflect the truth that everything is connected—that our daily choices ripple out into the furthest corners of the wild. There is life everywhere, and all of it is impacted by how we live.
Through my work, I hope to show just how breathtakingly wild and sacred these places still are—and how essential it is to protect them, for all beings. This is my calling.
May my images transport you into these untamed spaces, where you can feel fully immersed in their world.
